Indy 500 was the second sea turtle to join the sea turtle flotilla.
He was made of a soft density foam which gives his 14 x 11 inch shell a squishy softness and a girth of 24 inches.
He is also the lightest weight turtle puppet which probably makes him speedy. Thus his name!
He does not have a sleeve extension on his neck which limits his neck range.
He does have a dark brown outer marginal scale but does not have rod arm tabs on all four flippers.
The thirteen scutes on his carapace are shades of yellow, beige, tan and orange with the flippers and long tail in matching colors.
His head and neck are yellow fleece accented with orange lidded half-dome eyes, and brown, gold, orange and gray spots.
He has an inner rigid mouth mechanism overlayed with foam and a black felt mouth accented with a pink tongue.
He does have a small crackling sound to his mouth movement that should work itself out over time.
