Dugg is an adult-size, human-hand, two-man, puppet. This style of puppet is best operated with two puppeteers but can also be operated with just one puppeteer if only one hand is needed. Elastic in the top and bottom mouth plate provide for excellent finger and thumb support. Dugg is made of beige, knit terry fabric over a foam head.  He has custom baby blue lidded, half-dome eyes and black felt eyebrows, custom nose, and black yarn boa hair. He comes with non-removable black-rimed glasses, white collared human hand shirt, navy houndstooth vest, a blue plaid clip-on tie, and a pair of four finger gloves that store in the top of his head.

Meet Maddie. She's an adult size, human-hand puppet. I could say she's a used puppet, a gently used puppet, an experienced puppet or a veteran puppet. Anyway you look at it she is looking for a new home! She was made in 1999 and has been used mainly for the piano player in our "USO -A Tour of Duty" puppet program. She probably also did a few off-broadway stints as other characters but the focus of her career has been with our USO puppet troupe. She played the piano for the Andrew's Sisters in "Battle Hymm Boogie" where she was rewarded for her animated piano solo with the nickname "floosie." She was also the piano accompanist for Jack Benny's violin segment in our USO program and had a few speaking lines bantering with Jack about his horrible violin skills. Our USO program is downsizing and she is being retired from her military duty in USO. One of the Andrew's sisters has learned to play the piano and will take over Maddie's duties.

She has had the elastic in her mouth mechanism replaced as needed over the years and will be given a fresh set before she travels to a new home. She will also have minor repairs made (small hole near the mouth), a spot clean, and fresh make-up. She will come with her original gloves stored in the "hidey hole" in her head cavity. Maddie will still have several years of service left in her puppet life and she is looking forward to a new adventure.

Meet Finn. He's an adult size, elongated head, human-hand puppet. I could say he's a used puppet, a gently used puppet, an experienced puppet or a veteran puppet. Anyway you look at it he is looking for a new home! He was made in 2006 and has been used mainly for a trumpet player, in our "USO -A Tour of Duty" puppet program. He was one of two bugle players for the song "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" in our USO program. Our USO program is downsizing and both bugle boy puppets are being retired. The other trumpet player also has a part in our "Rugged Faith" program and is being retained for future use.

He will be given a fresh set of mouth elastic before he travels to a new home as well as fresh cheek color and a spot clean.  He will come with his original gloves stored in the "hidey hole" in his head cavity. Finn has many years of service left in his puppet life and is looking forward to a new adventure.

NEW PUPPET!! Velma is an adult-size, elongated head, human-hand, two-man, puppet. This style of puppet is best operated with two puppeteers but can also be operated with just one puppeteer if only one hand is needed. Wide elastic straps in the top and bottom mouth plate provide for excellent finger and thumb support. Velma is made of medium brown fleece fabric over a foam head.  She has custom, blue-lidded eyes, light brown eyebrows, and a round contrasting brown nose. Her long hair is a combination of black, sparkle yarn and black nylon loop and is styled with a side half pony tail. She comes with a pair of four finger gloves that store in the top of his head, yellow/orange human-hand shirt, hair tie, and earrings.  

NEW PUPPET!!  Prudence is an adult size, elongated, human-hand, two-man, puppet. This style of puppet is best operated with two puppeteers but can also be operated with just one puppeteer if only one hand is needed. This puppet has large black/white, post/washer eyes with felt eyelash accents and felt eyebrows. Her short hair is  thick roll, black/white yarn, tied back in two mini pony tails on the top of her head and accented with a sage green headband. Vest and headband are made of the same fabric and compliment her green paisley knit blouse. Wide elastic straps in the top and bottom mouth plate provide for excellent finger and thumb support. Prudence is made of beige robe velour fabric over a foam head. She comes with a pair of four finger gloves that store in the top of her head.  She is ready for that starring role in your next puppet performance!

NEW PUPPET!! Theodore is an adult-size, human-hand, two-man, puppet. This style of puppet is best operated with two puppeteers but can also be operated with just one puppeteer if only one hand is needed. Theodore is another experiment with adding dimensional facial features. He has cheek bones and a chin.  Wide elastic straps in the top and bottom mouth plate provide for excellent finger and thumb support. Theodore is made of light brown, robe velour fabric over a foam head.  He has skin-tone lidded, post washer eyes, round nose, and tri-color, chubby yarn, dredlock hair. He comes with a pair of four finger gloves that store in the top of his head and a burgundy human-hand shirt.

NEW PUPPET!! Quasi is an adult-size, human-hand, two-man, puppet. This style of puppet is best operated with two puppeteers but can also be operated with just one puppeteer if only one hand is needed. Quasi is my second experiment with adding facial dimensional features. He has cheek bones and eyebrow dimension making his eyes look set in to his face.  Even though unintentional, I think he looks angry so I made him a chef's costume. I'd look angry if I were in a kitchen as opposed to a sewing room! Wide elastic straps in the top and bottom mouth plate provide for excellent finger and thumb support. Quasi is made of beige, knit terry fabric over a foam head.  He has custom half-dome eyes, custom nose, and feathery boa tri-color hair. He comes with a pair of four finger gloves that store in the top of his head, white human-hand shirt, green stripe apron, and a white chef's hat. Tip for chef's hat:  If you don't want the added weight of fiberfill in the chef's hat, blow up a balloon as big as you want the chef's hat to be and insert into top of hat before attaching to puppet. Chef's hat does not come with balloon or fiberfill. I'm not sure if he can bring some fun to your performance but he might make a good King Herod, Haman, Pharoah, or other grumpy/bad guy.
