Meet Maddie. She's an adult size, human-hand puppet. I could say she's a used puppet, a gently used puppet, an experienced puppet or a veteran puppet. Anyway you look at it she is looking for a new home! She was made in 1999 and has been used mainly for the piano player in our "USO -A Tour of Duty" puppet program. She probably also did a few off-broadway stints as other characters but the focus of her career has been with our USO puppet troupe. She played the piano for the Andrew's Sisters in "Battle Hymm Boogie" where she was rewarded for her animated piano solo with the nickname "floosie." She was also the piano accompanist for Jack Benny's violin segment in our USO program and had a few speaking lines bantering with Jack about his horrible violin skills. Our USO program is downsizing and she is being retired from her military duty in USO. One of the Andrew's sisters has learned to play the piano and will take over Maddie's duties.

She has had the elastic in her mouth mechanism replaced as needed over the years and will be given a fresh set before she travels to a new home. She will also have minor repairs made (small hole near the mouth), a spot clean, and fresh make-up. She will come with her original gloves stored in the "hidey hole" in her head cavity. Maddie will still have several years of service left in her puppet life and she is looking forward to a new adventure.

Meet Finn. He's an adult size, elongated head, human-hand puppet. I could say he's a used puppet, a gently used puppet, an experienced puppet or a veteran puppet. Anyway you look at it he is looking for a new home! He was made in 2006 and has been used mainly for a trumpet player, in our "USO -A Tour of Duty" puppet program. He was one of two bugle players for the song "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" in our USO program. Our USO program is downsizing and both bugle boy puppets are being retired. The other trumpet player also has a part in our "Rugged Faith" program and is being retained for future use.

He will be given a fresh set of mouth elastic before he travels to a new home as well as fresh cheek color and a spot clean.  He will come with his original gloves stored in the "hidey hole" in his head cavity. Ubadula is a 24" monkey puppet made from a stuffed animal in 2016. He has been gently used and is looking for a new forever home. His red/black short pile fur is accented with light and dark beige fur muzzle, face and ears. He also has a bit of long pile faux fur on top of his head and animal post/washer eyes. He has no elastic on his mouth plate and his mouth is really small with barely enough room for four fingers on top. The muzzle stuffing helps to secure fingers to allow adequate mouth movement. Arms and legs are 12" long. He is 14" from the top of his head to the hand opening in the bottom.  He is fully lined with lining extending below the bottom hand opening.

Elfreda is a mid-size half body stage puppet. She has a deep brown skin tone made of robe velour fabric. Her short, spikey hair is made of multi-color red/orange cut yarn. She has large black/white, post/washer eyes lidded with baby blue felt.  Her hot pink glasses and lime green hoop earrings are also included. Her hinged mouth has elastic across the top and bottom for full finger and thumb support to promote good mouth manipulation. She comes with a pink/orange striped short sleeve shirt.

Do-Re-Mi…How much fun could you have with a musical note puppet? Just found this kit in a plastic tub from our GPS 2018 “VOICE” One-Day Puppetry Conference. Price reflects its status of NOS – New Old Stock. This is a foam based, moving mouth, eighth note puppet, air-brushed with blacklight reactive orange paint. Finished Puppet is 8 inches across the mouth and 18 inches from top of staff to bottom of note. It is made of 1-inch foam and is equipped with elastic straps inside the mouth for a good grip for producing optimum mouth manipulation.

This kit comes with 3 major pieces. The completed head/note front with mouth mechanism, head/note back and staff. The kit includes a black piece of felt for the mouth and a blacklight reactive tongue piece and blacklight reactive eyes. It also comes with full instructions.

You will need to provide the recommended glue - Dap Weldwood Contact Cement – and any embellishments you desire such as hair, eyelids, hats, etc. Just remember if you desire a blacklight puppet to make sure your embellishments are also blacklight reactive.

There is no black sleeve included. If covering the arm of the puppeteer is desired, you can glue a black sleeve onto the hand opening or the puppeteer can use a black glove or black arm made from a black sock to cover their arm.
