Mary Shelley was the first sea turtle to join the sea turtle flotilla.

She was made of a medium density foam which gives her 14 x 12 inch shell a medium firmness and a girth of 24 1/2 inches.

She does NOT have a sleeve extension on her neck which limits her neck range.

She does NOT have an outer marginal scutes or rod arm tabs on all four flippers.

The thirteen scutes on her carapace are shades of green, tan, and brown with the flippers and short tail matching the green.

Her head and neck are tan fleece accented with green lidded half-dome eyes, and green, brown, gray spots.

She has an inner rigid mouth mechanism overlayed with foam and a black felt mouth accented with a pink tongue.

Puppeteer hand entry is under the tail.
